Biomes

Biomes are areas of a Necesse world that have unique characteristics and styles. Each biome determines how the surface, caves, and deep caves will look, which plants will grow there, and which animals or monsters will spawn.

Major Biomes

There are five major biomes in Necesse, each with its own unique features. Each major biome also has a chance to contain a NPC village.

Special Biomes

There are some special biomes that only spawn in certain areas

Dungeon	Can sometimes spawn in surface Forest biomes
Pirate Village	Can sometimes spawn in surface Forest biomes
Temple	Entrance found in Deep Desert Caves
Trials	Entrances can sometimes be found in Caves and Deep Caves

Incursion Biomes

Alongside the normal biomes, there are special incursion-only biomes that can only be accessed through the Fallen Altar.

Mini-Biomes

Alongside the major biomes, there are some mini-biomes which are found inside them. Some mini-biomes are unique to specific major biomes, while others can be found anywhere.
