The Guardian Shell is a trinket that is dropped by the Swamp Guardian. Instead of holding it out to block incoming damage like other shields, the Guardian Shell is used to buff yourself for 5 seconds and has a 30 second cooldown. During the buff time you are free to do whatever you want, unlike other shields that lock you in place and must continue to be held down.
