Bosses
Boss health scales with # of players at a rate of +80% base HP per each player past 1. For example, Evil's Protector has a base HP of 3000. With 3 players, its health total is 3000 + 2 * (3000 * 0.8) = 7800. Each boss is guaranteed to drop one of the items in the "drops one of the following" section. If you defeat the boss again, it will drop one of the remaining items until they have all been dropped. After that it will pick another random item and begin the cycle again.
3 bosses must be defeated to unlock the current major areas in the game. They are Pirate Captain to unlock the Deep Caves, Sage and Grit to unlock the Desert Temple, and Fallen Wizard to unlock Incursions.
Pre-Deep Cave Bosses[edit]
These are bosses you fight for the first time from the beginning of the game until unlocking the Deep Caves by defeating the Pirate Captain, who drops your first Deep Ladder Down.
Deep Cave Bosses[edit]
These are bosses you fight for the first time from after unlocking Deep Caves until unlocking Incursions. Incursions are unlocked by first defeating Sage and Grit to open the Temple, then defeating the Fallen Wizard at the end, who drops your first Gateway Tablet.
These bosses appear at the end of Gateway Tablets of their respective biomes, with the exception of the Fallen Wizard.
Incursion Bosses[edit]
These are bosses you fight for the first time from when you unlock Incursions to the current end of the game. Defeating the Ascended Wizard rolls the credits.
